Emotional issues can manifest physically in our bodies. We hold stress, anger, grief and past hurt in our cells and muscles as well as in our hearts and minds. Some of this can even be ancestral.
This is the reason we recommend breathwork and movement alongside our other healing practices. How often do you hear the phrase ‘they were frozen in fear’ for example? When we are in a place of fear, pain or sadness we contract. It’s important to expand, to open up and embrace the new. Bringing movement to a situation can be very powerful, after a while things start to shift and you will start to feel a sense of lightness.
We are both yoga teachers and have worked with the body and breath for many years. Simon is also an osteopath and together we have combined our knowledge and skill to create ‘Osteoclass’. It is all about joint mobility using osteopathic principles. It’s basically mindfulness in movement. We have created a video that gives you the tools needed to maintain a healthy, moving body.
